PSL Racing School

PSL Karting Race school is one of the best Karting schools in the country. In the past years PSL Karting developed a multitude of champions, regional, provincial, national and international!

PSL offers training programs for the 5 year old beginners or the 60 year old veteran, and will fulfill your needs. We offer introduction to Karting courses, courses to obtain your race license and also courses to perfect your driving technique.

The courses are provided by Dynamic and experimented instructors, they are ASN Canada and Karting Québec Approved. All courses are given in a simple language and are simple and easy to understand for all ages. All courses have a theory and practical portion, followed by an evaluation.

The PSL Karting instructors count many years of experience and victories that will give you the advantage.

Either for your first laps with a race kart or for you to obtain the pole position… The PSL Karting team will give you a world champion service!

PSL Karting School: Training program

Step 1

Introduction to Racing kart driving
JR 7 to 14 yrs old SR 15 yrs old & more	$195.00 plus taxes $250.00 plus taxes
The training is offered with an Italian CRG competition kart, Briggs & Stratton 4-stroke engine, 7 HP. You can make your first track tours with a competition kart and you learn the fundamentals in circuit security terms.
Requirements: None Included: helmet, suit, kart, driver notebook, PSL diploma. 1 classroom theory session of 20 minutes 3 practice sessions of 10 laps 3 theory sessions of 10 minutes on the track Training total: 1h30

Step 2

ROTAX Initiation		Improvement 4 Stroke

Training offered with an Italian CRG competition kart, 2 stroke ROTAX engine, from 7HP to 28HP. Make your first track tours with a 2 stroke competition kart and feel the 10 000 rpm acceleration! Review the basic safety on track, basic maintenance and learn basic flying techniques.		Training offered with an Italian CRG competition kart RS-5 2012 model, 7HP Briggs & Stratton 4-stroke engine. Review the basic safety on track, weight transfer and threshold braking. Learn the basic settings of the kart.

ROTAX Improvement		4-stroke Advanced technics

Training offered with an Italian CRG competition kart, 2-stroke ROTAX engine from 7HP to 28HP. Improve your learning, learn the race driver techniques, overtakings, different break techniques, learn the different kart settings.		Training offered with an Italian kart of leading competition CRG, model RS-5 2012, 4 stroke Briggs & Stratton of 7 HP. Push your limits, your tours are timed! Receive the advice of pros to decrease your time! Adjust your kart to perform!

ROTAX Advanced techniques		4-stroke competition

Receive the advice of pros to decrease your time! Adjust your kart to perform!		Training offered with an Italian kart of leading competition CRG, model RS-5 2012, 4-stroke Briggs & Stratton of 7 HP. Complete your training with the competition training to obtain your first driving license. You can participate in PSL karting club challenge 4-stroke 2012, or even in the Coupe du Québec in 4-stroke category.

ROTAX Competition

Training offered with an Italian kart of leading competition CRG, 2-stroke ROTAX of 7 HP to 28 HP according to the model. Complete your training with the course competition to obtain your first driving license of running. You can participate to 2012 PSL Karting club challenge, or even to the Coupe du Québec.

Training offered with an Italian kart CRG, models PUFFO, driving 4-stroke of 2.5HP. Make your first laps with a kart learn the basic notions in terms of safety, the acceleration, the braking, the vision…
On small Circuit, 2 drivers by instructor. Include: helmet, suit, kart, PSL diploma. 1 classroom theory session of 15 minutes 5 practical sessions of 10 laps 3 theoretical sessions on track of 10 minutes Training total: 2h00

Kid Kart Improvement:
Kid 5 to 7 years old	$95.00 plus taxes
You spend some time on the track with the PUFFO of 2.5HP, have a practice overseen with instructor.
On small Circuit, 2 drivers by instructor. Include: helmet, suit, kart, PSL diploma. 1 classroom theory session of 15 minutes 5 practical sessions of 10 laps 3 theoretical sessions on track of 10 minutes Training total: 2h00 Available from Wednesday to Sunday from 1h00 PM to 5h00 PM.

For all those who wish to participate to a race and/or a regional championship and who want to obtain their driver's training as fast as possible. Come to spend 2 days with the PSL Karting team. The training can be in group, the drivers are responsible for damage, good weather or bad weather!

DD-2 Master
15-year-old adults and +:	$649.00
For all those who want to live the strong sensations of a competition kart CRG Dark Rider Evo II, power-driven ROTAX 125 cc of 32HP, on type DD2; 2 speeds in the steering wheel, the disc brakes in front wheels guaranteeing strong sensations! The program of 4 hours, included the training of the program 2, with a kart CRG Rotax Sr, to complete then in the steering wheel of a DD2.

PSL Karting School

Race camp!
JR 7 to 15 years old	$795.00 plus taxes (5 days; Monday to Friday) $195.00 plus taxes (1 day)
For the young drivers, the beginners, the intermediaries and advanced. The participants will receive a completes Karting training, with driving kart CRG 4-stroke Rotax and will obtain a competition diploma. A training on the basic maintenance of a competition kart, physical activities, training and games in group.

Includes a theory session
The instructor will teach the students the base Karting techniques, the geometry of a kart, the adjustments, on track security, flags description and the rules.

Time to try the acquired notions in practice, Kart control, visualize the race line, proper braking, different passing techniques, driving in traffic, understanding the flags.

The instructors

Valérie Limoges

Instructor, 28 years old, Valerie counts many years in motorsport competition, from karting champion, open wheel formula, to Grand Am sedan race cars, with many podiums. Valerie always aims at the highest step on the podium for her students!

Richard Doran

Instructor, with 35 years of expérience in karting, first with his sons, than as a driving coach for private teams. The fatherly side of Richard provides confidence to the youngest drivers!

Pier Luc Ouellette

Instructor, Pier Luc counts more than 15 years experience in karting, he won many Canadian Titles, American and World Championships also! Pier Luc can help you become the next champion!
